It doesn’t even have to be a fancy cereal box.
to iron fabric right onto the wall.. Really?I Googled it and read about 20 different tutorials on it.

There are a few ways to do it, but the way I did it was using spray starch, since that’s what I had..And yes, the yellow carpet is still there!.Of course, Kennedy was not super excited about the idea at first.

She’s on to me and my passing my blog projects off as “crafts”.I let her pick what kind of shape she’d like on her wall though and then she was all for it.. She must be reading blogs over my shoulder because trees on the wall are just the hottest thing in kids’ rooms right now..

Here are the quick and easy steps!.
1) Draw your shape on your fabric and cut it out.. 2) Spray startch on the back of it.. 3)Iron it to the wall!.Yes, this is serious business!.
Well, I was starting to lay out my plans for our Fall mudroom, and I didn’t quite know what I was going to do.I made this one little move and everything started to take shape.
I’m so in love with it, in fact, that I thought I’d share this little tip with you..I thought adding in this string of lights, with all the black plasticy parts so visible like this might just be a disaster, but this simple move of tying these little ribbons flags around it changed the whole vibe.
